Type Refinement and Final ID for Harun & Walter.

H&W is a font based on the final refinement of Harun and Walter’s ID. We are commissioned to design a signature typeface for their print-on-demand service. The original ID used the Bodoni family and they want to re-create the logotype with more versatile and elegant one, and create a font set for type and display.

We didnt want to alter the classic Bodoni type used on the original signature, even its not my favorite font, its already been there known as perfect typeset. So we started on analyzing the height and some curves on the original signature, and create new one based on the Bodoni font family. The refinement works include the cleaning up and kerning.

The refinement task ended up as font set design work, we fill out the missing characters and refine existing characters to create a consistent typeface. It was then coded and kerned to function as an True Type typeface with stylistic alternatives.

Mach Display Bold (True Type Font Free Download)

Mach Display Bold is a True Type Font made a year ago for headlines and page title on ICCA Annual Report. The capital letters A-Z are the only characters that exist plus some other typing characters (parenleft/right, period, coma etc). This font is copyleft (c) TYPO WORKSPACE. It’s free for personal/noncommercial use, AND commercial use. Which means, that you can share the font as you like, but not make a new version of the font (e.g. an italic or bold version) and publish it without our permission. Other than that, you are free to use it as you like in any way.

If you use this as a part of your work, please send me a photo/screenshot of your finished work along with the work detail informations and I will put it up on the site.

Lunar Matrics (Display Font Free Download)

This display font is originally created as feature contribution for #2 issue of Still Loving Youth Magazine, this time they present “Types Are Fun” as a theme and did a typographical experiment involving children to alter some typefaces using various media. But the deadline is damn tight and they couldn’t wait till the display font done, so i gave them another true type font that’s already made before, which is fine. So here’s the display font, available only in EPS format, free to download and free to use without any restrictions. I have problem in converting it to TTF since i dont want to compromise the grayscale gradient layers to line/curves. The capital letters A-Z are the only characters that exist, alter them as you want.

Unkl Tyrant (Display Font Free Download)

Im a big fan of Russian posters and post-bolshevik russian constructivism, and this font is obviously inspired by the art movement and the beauty of bold, strong and cold Russian typography. There are plenty of this kind of fonts out there, and the most abused one is the Nyet Bold type but im kinda bored with it since i use it million times before. So i created my own as a part of typeface set i made for UNKL347 in 2008.

The capital letters A-Z are the only characters that exist (uppercase), plus the 1-0 and several additional characters and dingbats too. But there are some exceptional kerning in E and G letters, you can change the case to a lower one to use the E and G letters with different kerning in order to match with the previous letter. This is the 1.0 version, of course there are few inconsistent kerning in other letters that will be fixed in 2.0, plus some other additional characters also.

This display font originally created for Barbel’s ID and its retail/promo collateral. Inspired by the oh-so-nasty 80′s Top Collection posters and bad-ass dude who cut my hair in ugly style back when i was in high school. Available only in EPS format, free to download and free to use without any restrictions. The capital letters A-Z are the only characters that exist. Some letters may be inconsistent or have ugly looking in general, you can alter them as you want it to be.

TYPO Printed Portfolio (A2 Poster Format)

Just finished re-designing our printed version of our portfolio on poster format. Its an A2, 100gr paper, folded and inserted on foiled-transparent paper. For the first time, finally we (are forced to) finalize the TYP:O typeset since need to use it for the body copy in the layout.

This is supposed to be our 1st post, but honestly we really dont have any important thing to say. So we only want to inform that we just finished re-building our official website and add new images on the archive.
